Jurgen Klopp will not be happy.

Sadio Mane has returned back to Liverpool‘s Melwood training facilities from International Duty after his hamstring injury looks to have resurfaced. Mane picked up the initial injury during the previous international break and was set to be sidelined for atleast 4 weeks. But the Senegal International made a comeback two weeks ahead of schedule and also featured during Liverpool’s 4-1 win against the Hammers.

He also featured for his national team during the game against South Africa and played the full 90 minutes. And just when it looked as if things were falling into place for Jurgen Klopp, Mane’s hamstring injury looks to have resurfaced.

Mane has returned back to Merseyside and will now be assessed by Liverpool’s doctors. Klopp will be hoping that the injury is not serious and that his star player can be available for the high profile clash against Chelsea two weeks from now.

Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture is on Saturday when they take on Southampton at home. And the very next week they entertain Chelsea at Anfield.
