As the Premier League season is coming to a close, Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker might be on his way out of the club. This comes after reports that Walker had a bust up with Spurs manager Pochettino. The incident could very well mean that Walker’s career at the club might well and truly be over.

On the other hand, a number of top European clubs have shown interest in Walker after the incident has surfaced. He has been linked with clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona and even Bayern Munich.

But if we filter through the rumours when can easily separate the facts from fiction

Here are some of the top two clubs that will definitely not go for him in the summer:
Manchester United:

Walker has been heavily linked with Manchester United since his bust-up with the Spurs manager. But if you look at it closely, you might very well see why Mourinho will show no interest in him. Mourinho, historically, always wants a player who has more than decent defensive capabilities. And Walker just does not fit in that bracket. He is great going forward and is a wonderful athlete but defensively he is not very strong. On top of that Mourinho has Antonio Valencia at his disposal. And the Ecuadorian has been a revelation at the right back role. He is rock solid in defence and also poses a great threat while going forward.

Manchester City:

In his second season in charge, Pep Guardiola will be looking to strengthen his squad so that they can be serious title contenders. And Walker fits perfectly into that brief. But Guardiola has two world class right backs already at his disposal, in the form of Sagna and Zabaleta. More importantly, Guardiola will try to introduce his brand of football from next season. And we are not very sure if Walker can fit into that system.

Barcelona:

Walker is also being linked to Spanish giants Barcelona. But this is also a close ended news as far as we are concerned. Barcelona already have two right backs in their current squad. Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal. And Roberto has performed quite brilliantly this season. But most importantly, Barcelona might not win any major trophy this season so they will definitely not want to bring in a new player and waste time remoulding him. They will definitely want to stick with what they have unless a big player comes their way.

Where is his next destination?

As the Premier League season comes to a close we will hear many such rumours about players been linked to almost every club possible. And such is the case with Kyle Walker. Following the incident with Pochettino, it is highly unlikely that Walker will stay at the club for another season. But his next destination can only be determined once clubs starting bidding for him.
