Barcelona are preparing to move for English International Dele Alli.

According to a report in the Don Balon, Barcelona are looking at Alli as an integral part of their midfielder. The Catalans are sure to face a big crisis situation in midfield during the coming few seasons as Andres Iniesta will soon retire and Ivan Rakitic is also an uncertainty. Thus Valverde wants to solve out this issue as soon as possible with the help of Dele Alli.

Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the midfielder but that will not stop Barcelona from making a move for Alli at the end of the current season as Lionel Messi has also advised the Barcelona management to sign the 21-year-old.

Alli has scored 31 goals during his 80 appearances with the Lilywhites but as per the report, he will not be the main priority for Barcelona. The news suggests that Barcelona are still looking at Philippe Coutinho as their top priority next summer and will keep a lookout on Alli as a suitable alternative.

But the current La Liga leaders will know very well that getting the services of Dele Alli will not be a cakewalk. Firstly they will have to convince the player to switch loyalties and then they will have to come to a settlement with Daniel Levy.

Alli, though in a recent interview said that he is pretty happy with his life in North London and does not wish to move out anytime soon. But it Spurs fail to win any silverware this campaign then this viewpoint can change very quickly.
