Bournemouth scored a late goal to snatch a draw against Liverpool. This is Bournemouth’s first ever point at Anfield. With the draw, Klopp’s men failed to make it five straight wins at home.

Bournemouth took the lead on the 10th-minute mark after Afobe’s shot from the center of the box bulged the bottom left right-hand corner of the net. Liverpool though got back to level terms five minutes before the first half through Philippe Coutinho. Firmino assisted the goal with a brilliant through ball to find Coutinho.

Liverpool went 2-1 ahead just before the clock struck 60 minutes. This time it was Origi who planted a header into the Bournemouth net from close range. In the absence of Sadio Mane, Origi has the chance to impress Jurgen Klopp and become a first team regular for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp’s men could literally see the finish line and the three points. But Bournemouth had other ideas. Joshua King scored a dramatic equalizer in the 87th minute of the match from a long throw-in by Steve Cook.

Jurgen Klopp in his post-match interview has urged his players to play more like Chelsea. He feels that his team lacks the experience of closing down games. But he has also stated that games like these will definitely give some much-needed experience to his players.

But the most entertaining moment of the match was definitely played out in the commentary box. Former Liverpool man Jamie Carragher who was co-commentating the match was asked to describe Origi’s header. The ex-red fumbled and mumbled to make a hilarious piece of review of the goal.

Here’s exactly what he said, “He doesn’t even look, gets the sand-wedge out, little dink……and he does what he, what a, what a….”

Looks like Carragher was seemingly short of words and came up with comments straight from his heart.
