Liverpool have the worst defensive record amongst the top six clubs as they have already conceded 16 goals in their first 10 matches and Jurgen Klopp is now desperate to make things right by signing a few players during the January transfer window.

Now according to a report, Liverpool have shown an interest in signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas after the player has hinted that he wants to move out of the Bernabeu.

Navas has told his agents to listen to any offers that might come his way and Liverpool want to take this opportunity and bring the former Manchester United target to Anfield. Navas went agonisingly close to signing for Manchester United a couple of seasons back but the deal collapsed during the final few seconds of the transfer window. Since then, the Costa Rican has stayed in Madrid and sort of revived his career.

But now he wants to leave for greener pastures and Liverpool feel this is the perfect moment for them to replace Mignolet with the current Real Madrid No 1.
