Liverpool are set to miss another transfer target

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are not having a very nice week if you were to put it in simple words.

During the previous week, Liverpool looked all set to sign two players in the form of Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah. Not even seven days have passed by and both the deals have turned on its head. First, Liverpool pulled out of the race to sign van Dijk from Southampton after the Saints accused Liverpool of using unfair means. Liverpool FC put out a statement on their website stating that they no longer wished to sign Van Dijk this summer.

And now it looks as if their second target is also set to jump the boat. Mohamed Salah’s agent yesterday put out a rather encrypted tweet and everyone is thinking that it’s aimed at Liverpool.

If the tweet is indeed directed towards Liverpool then it looks as the Salah deal is off.

Salah
Mohamed Salah has already played in the Premier League with Chelsea.

It seems as if the transfer price could have been the only thing that might have ended the negotiations. Mohamed Salah had a brilliant season with AS Roma scoring 19 and assisting 15 goals. And due to this Roma have put a 40 million pound price tag for the Egyptian. But as per reports, Liverpool are not ready to pay such a steep price. In fact, their last bid was supposedly somewhere around 28 million pounds.
