While speaking to German paper Kicker, Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has labelled the interest from Juventus as an honour.

A few days ago it was reported that Juventus have shown a keen interest in buying Emre Can from Liverpool and now the German has responded to this,

Can said, “It’s always an honour to receive an offer from such a renowned club, but currently I am only focused on the season with Liverpool,”

“My agent takes care of the rest.

“The Premier League is just a really cool league, the most interesting in the world, but you must always respect other big clubs and leagues. You never know what will happen. And I don’t know what Jurgen Klopp plans.”

Another bit of news has also suggested that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has shown an interest in signing up the player next summer. United already have the services of Nemanja Matic in the form of a defensive midfielder but Mourinho wants Can to be the long-term replacement for Michael Carrick.

Now whether Liverpool will sell Emre Can to Manchester United is anyone’s guess but by the looks of it, the interest from Juventus seems pretty real. And with Can also liking the importance from the Italian giants a move could well and truly be on the cards next summer.
