According to a report in the AS, Liverpool are set to investigate claims of ‘heavy-handed’ policing by security forces in and around the ground during the club’s Champions League clash versus Sevilla last night.

The Reds took a comfortable 3 goals lead by the 22nd minute of the game and the match seemed to be done and dusted. But the Spanish outfit fought back and made it 3-3 thanks to a brace from Ben Yedder and a 93rd-minute equaliser from Pizzaro.

Liverpool collapsed under pressure and threw away a three goals lead but the travelling red fans complained that there was utter ‘chaos’ at the away section of the stadium. A large section of the fans complained that there was total mismanagement during the game and many could even stand properly.

Fans complained that the police moved them away from the entrance points for no reason and some even went on to claim that they witnessed some fellow travelling fans were beaten up by the riot police during the match.
