Ray Wilkins has said that Manchester United can have David Luiz tomorrow if they want.

The former Chelsea player is not a big fan of the Brazilian and thinks that Luiz lacks some of the basic qualities that a central defender should possess. So he feels that if Jose Mourinho comes calling for Luiz so that he can play him as a central defender at Old Trafford then Chelsea should sell him off immediately.

He feels that Luiz makes far too many mistakes and is not fit for a top-level football club. But if Antonio Conte is willing to use him as a midfielder then Chelsea should not part ways with him – as per Wilkins.

While speaking to Sportingbet(as reported by Daily Star), Wilkins said, “As far as I’m concerned, David Luiz can go to United tomorrow as a centre-half.

“If he goes as a holding midfielder, I wouldn’t let him leave.

“David Luiz, as a centre-half, does not fit the requirements of a top-level football club – he makes far too many errors. I don’t think Jose Mourinho will have David. He wants to keep clean sheets and beat opposition one or two nil and with Luiz, he will struggle to do that.”

This bit of statement does come out of the blue(like literally) as there has been no major rumour that Manchester United are after the Brazilian defender.
