Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj is set to hold contract talks with his current clubs Fiorentina amidst heavy interest from multiple Premier League clubs.

The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, and Spurs were all in queue to sign the player this summer but the Italians resisted every move in order to hold on to their midfielder. And now as per the latest reports, the 28-year-old is set to enter talks about a contract extension at Fiorentina. The Serie A club are desperate to sign a new deal with Badelj because they know pretty well that both Manchester United and Chelsea still hold interest in the player and will try and sign him up during the January transfer window.

Milan Badelj joined Fiorentina from Hamburger SV in 2014 and since then he has gone on to make over 80 appearances for the Gigliatis. But the current season has been far from good for the Croatian as he was sent off against Juventus last month.

Spurs might have pulled out of the race but Man Utd and Chelsea still hold considerable interest in the player and Fiorentina want to shut down the contract before both these clubs coming sniffing around again in January.
