Pep Guardiola had a go at Nathan Redmond for time wasting during Manchester City’s victory over Southampton. The Spanish manager was seen with his arm around the midfielder while poking at his chest aggressively – trying to make a point. But the FA have decided not to punish the manager by slapping him with a touchline ban.
Pep Guardiola has been reminded of his ‘reminded of his responsibilities’ but the FA have chosen not to initiate any further punishment. And this decision has left the Manchester United fans fuming – more so because a touchline ban would have meant the Guardiola would have to watch next week’s Manchester Derby from the stands.
However that is not to be, and the United fans are not pleased at all.
So Pep Guardiola will face no action for his screaming and ranting in Nathan Redmond's face. I mean of course not. If his name was Jose Mourinho however it would be an entirely different story

Absolutely ridiculous that guardiola got away with that, any other manager would get a ban straight away

Media already forgotten Pep Guardiola about 5 meters on the pitch celebrating, going mental. Then at the end of the game having a go at Redmond. Mourinho one foot on the pitch and gets banned. Unbelievable tbh #MUFC

'Pep guardiola faces no action following pitch action' if that was Jose, instant ban.
