Manchester United are said to be preparing a £25 million bid for Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon – according to reports.

Manchester United scouts have been tracking the youngster since the day he broke into the first team setup at Craven Cottage and reports suggest the United management have upped their game in order to sign the 17-year-old after his hat-trick last month.

The Old Trafford outfit look set to release Luke Shaw by the end of the season and it seems that the club have pinpointed Sessegnon as an ideal replacement. Shaw has not been able to live up to Jose Mourinho’s expectations this season and with Tottenham Hotspur wanting to sign him up, United might very well cash in on him.

Tottenham though are also said to be looking at Ryan Sessegnon and that is why United are set to include an immediate loan-back clause in the bid they are about to present for the youngster. Fulham are currently sitting on 11th position on the Championship table and they will surely not want to part ways with a key player during the middle of the season. And that is why the United management are hoping that a loan-back clause will help resolve the issue.
