Manchester United have finally made the signing of Romelu Lukaku official. The club announced on Twitter today that they had reached an agreement with Everton over the transfer of the Belgian.

But no sooner had the deal been announced than the 24-year-old has got into trouble with the authorities.

The new United player is currently holidaying in LA with his good friend and team-mate Paul Pogba. The players have rented a lavish villa in the Beverly Hills area and have been staying there for almost two weeks now.

And according to a report by TMZ, the Belgian had thrown a huge party at this villa. And this upset his neighbours, forcing them to call the police.

The police visited his residence atleast six times in the past week. And each time the authorities asked the player to keep the noise down. But the Belgian did not listen. Eventually forcing the police to arrest him for disturbing the peace.

But the player was however not taken to the police station or formally booked.

Lukaku is expected to complete his medical in LA and straightaway join his new team on their pre-season tour. His good friend and team-mate Paul Pogba is also present with him in LA. And he too is expected to join the team before they play their first pre-season match against LA Galaxy.
