Manchester United lost points yet again and this time it was against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. United were dominated throughout the match and lost the match 1-0 thanks to a solitary goal by Alvaro Morata.

Here are the Man Utd players ratings for the match:

de Gea: 6/10

Could not do much for the goal.

Jones: 6.5/10

Picked up a very unnecessary yellow card and had to be cautious after that. United looked far more vulnerable once he was taken off.

Smalling: 6/10

Had an ok game but was in no man’s land when the goal was scored.

Bailly: 5/10

Made some rash challenges and failed to mark Morata for the goal.

Young: 6.5/10

Nothing special like the game against Spurs.

Matić: 7/10

Held the fortress very well and put in a good shift.

Herrera: 6.5/10

Nothing special going upfront.

Valencia: 6/10

Defended pretty well but was non-existence during attacks.

Mkhitaryan: 4.5/10

Another poor performance from the Armenian. Was rightly substituted on the hour mark.

Rashford: 7/10

Put in a good shift but was far below his top form.

Lukaku: 3/10

Certainly not worth his price tag. Pathetic performance. Failed to get a single touch in Chelsea’s box. David De Gea has more touches than him.

Substitutes:

Fellaini: 7.5/10

Was easily the best player for United on the pitch for the whole game. And he only played 30 odd minutes. Almost scored in the final few seconds of the game.

Lingard: N/A

Martial: N/A
