Jose Mourinho lately has been having a major selection headache as a string of his first-team players have been sidelined with injuries. The likes of Pogba, Carrick, Zlatan and Fellaini are all on the injury list but before the crunch game against Spurs this weekend, Mourinho gave the media some good news.

Mourinho said that Marcus Rashford, Phil Jones, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly will all be available for selection this weekend. Both Rashford and Herrera picked up knocks during United’s midweek game against Swansea while Eric Bailly has not played a game since he returned from Internation duty a few weeks back. Bailly has missed four games on the trot and his return along with Jones will be a major boost for Mourinho as the duo was the Portuguese’s central defensive partnership of choice before the international break.

While speaking to the media, Mourinho said, “If you ask if [Paul Pogba] can play next week against Tottenham then I don’t know,

“I’m not telling you no, then he plays, and then you say I lied. I really don’t know.

“I expect Eric Bailly to be back next week. I cannot tell you about Fellaini or Pogba.”

Marouane Fellaini is expected to return back to action during the first week of November while United‘s world record signing Paul Pogba might be available by the end of next month.

Here is the list of players who took part in the training on Thursday:

David de Gea, Sergio Romero,Joel Pereira, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Axel Tuanzebe, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Scott McTominay, Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku.
