Sunday, 17th September sees table-toppers Manchester United face Merseyside club Everton, at Old Trafford.
Manchester United will head into the game as firm favourites, after having a great start to the season. Everton meanwhile, were humbled on their recent visit to Italy, with Atalanta winning 3-0.
In team news, Manchester United will be without Paul Pogba after he picked up a hamstring injury against FC Basel. Regular absentees include Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Everton too have problems of their own. Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Coleman, Funes Mori and James McCarthy are notable absentees. Emotions will be running high around Old Trafford as Wayne Rooney returns to Old Trafford in different colours.

Goalkeeper:
Jose Mourinho made it pretty clear that David de Gea will be the primary keeper in all of the competitions, and he will be expected to guard the sticks against Everton.

Defence:
The defence will see a complete reshuffle from the convincing victory against FC Basel. Matteo Darmian could return at LB and Valencia will be the obvious choice at RB, who will be flanking the successful defensive pairing of Bailly and Jones.

Midfield:
This is where it gets interesting. The midfield could see the trio of Herrera, Matic and Fellaini. While this may not be the most attacking of midfield, it still provides a lot of security to the back 4. Matic’s role might mean Fellaini assumes the role of a second striker on certain occasions.
Herrera’s surprise exclusion from the Champions League squad could have been a one-off, as his importance to the team cannot be questioned.

Attack might see the resumption of the successful trio, Rashford, Lukaku and Mkhitaryan. The loss of Paul Pogba does significantly reduce the attacking threat, and the onus will be on the front three to create chances at will.
