Man Utd have been named as the most valuable football club in the world for the first time in five years.

Man Utd have surpassed the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid to make it to the top of the list. The list which is calculated by Forbes, takes into account a lot of factors while compiling the data. And all the data taken belongs to the 2015-16 season.

Recent European Champions Real Madrid have been topping the chart for the last four years. But this year they have fallen down to the third position. La Liga rivals Barcelona have beaten Real to make it second on the list.

Bayern Munich are fourth on the list and are the last club on the table who have crossed the 2 billion pound mark. Manchester City are fifth on the list with a net worth of 1.61 billion pounds. Premier League teams dominate the list as there are 8 clubs from England in the top 20.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are the other Premier League clubs that are present in the top 10.

France has only one club representing them on the list in the form of Paris St Germain. While the Premier League teams dominate the list with 8 clubs in the top 20.
