Arsenal have just rejected a bid of £50 million for Alexis Sanchez. But Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are just not ready to give up.

Guardiola desperately wants to bring in the Chilean before Thursday’s transfer deadline and news has it that City will return to Arsenal with a fresh and improved bid. Man City have a feeling that Arsene Wenger and Arsenal will crack at some point and will give in to Sanchez’s demands of moving out of the club.

And when that demands the Blue half of Manchester want to wrap up the deal as soon as possible. That is why as per the latest news, City have sent a group to Chile in order to close the final steps of the deal – as and when it happens.

The Man City officials have flown out to Chile and are waiting there eagerly to close the Alexis Sanchez deal as soon as both the clubs reach an agreement.

Sachez has a little over 10 months left on his current contract at Arsenal and the Chilean has refused to sign a new deal – meaning that if Wenger does not open the gates for him this season then the 28-year-old will walk out a free agent next summer.

While Wenger has been sticking to his point that he would let Sanchez leave for free next summer rather than sell him off this time around. But Guardiola keeps knocking on the Gunners’ manager’s window hoping that Wenger will at one point in time open up and hand Sanchez over – wrapped pretty in a basket.
