Danny Rose recently claimed in an explosive interview that he wants to win trophies and is willing to move to a new club which could offer him a more realistic chance at winning some silverware. The English International also claimed that he wants Spurs to sign big players, whose name he ‘doesn’t need to Google’

In the interview with the Sun, Rose also claimed that he is currently underpaid and as a result he is willing to listen to offers from rival clubs. Rose’s comment have quite rightly sent the footballing world into a tizzy as most people feel that he should not have been blunt with his comments especially when there are no concrete talks of him moving to a new club. And one such person who has slammed Danny Rose is football pundit and ex-United legend Gary Neville.

Neville tweeted, “WTF is Danny Rose thinking!!

“Imagine walking into the training ground having not been fit for months and months. Morning lads!!”

The 27-year-old still has 4 years left on his current contract and he has easily been one of the best players for Spurs during the past two seasons. But Rose currently receives £65,000 per week and he clearly feels that he is worth much more than that.

So was this explosive interview a shoutout to clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea to come and get him?
