Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who has been having sleepless nights due to so many injuries has been finally been given a bit of relief. Three of his first team defenders, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones were all back for training ahead of their Europa League clash.

While Bailly suffered a knock this week against Swansea, both Smalling and Jones have been long-term absentees. Jones suffered an injured foot due to teammate Smalling at an England training session. And Smalling was himself injured in that very same match.

Earlier Mourinho had urged both his defenders to take a cue out of Juan Mata’s book and be a bit brave. According to Mourinho, Mata has done everything to make himself available ahead of schedule.

Manchester United’s defenders Luke Shaw, Rojo and Fosu-Mensah are still out with respective injuries. But the return of the defensive trio will give at least some respite to Mourinho. The defensive crisis was so huge that Mourinho must have been lining up Carrick or Darmian to play in central defence.

Things look much more sunny for the coach as compared to say a week ago. His midfield crisis also seems to be coming to an end. He will have Fellaini at his disposal who is serving only a domestic ban. Juan Mata is also back from injury and was on the bench against Swansea. Frenchman Paul Pogba was also seen on the training ground ahead of the midweek clash. This means that Pogba will also be available for selection against Celta Vigo.

But Mourinho has also warned of that fact that is they were to win against Celta Vigo then he will have to seriously do some chopping and changing in the league matches. He even suggested of playing Nicky Butt’s Under-23 squad for their last game against Crystal Palace.
