Manchester United defeated Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates and here are the players’ ratings for the Red Devils.

David De Gea: 9/10

The performance showed why exactly he was the best keeper in the Premier League. Without his efforts, United could have easily conceded 3 or 4 goals.

Marcos Rojo: 7.5/10

Was solid in defence throughout the match.

Chris Smalling: 7.5/10

Good in defence. Made some good ariel clearances and also closed down well.

Victor Lindelof: 8/10

Improving with each passing game. Was given the job of man-marking Alexis Sanchez and did a pretty decent job.

Valencia: 8.5/10

Scored the opening goal for United. Was good with the ball at his feet and made some good runs into the channels.

Young: 8/10

Continued with his fine form from the midweek fixture. Made one good headed clearance from a Mesut Ozil free kick.

Nemanja Matic: 8.5/10

Matic was rock solid in midfielder and made two or three fine challenges in and around the penalty box.

Paul Pogba: 7.5/10

Was the creative spark in midfield and came up with two assists in the game. But was sent off during the final quarter of the game for what seemed to be an unintentional stamp.

Lingard: 8.5/10

Was easily the most hardworking United player on the pitch. Scored two goals in the game and also ran endlessly throughout the pitch.

Martial: 8/10

Provided an assist for the first Lingard goal with a neat touch but was substituted in the second half in order to accommodate Ander Herrera in midfield.

Lukaku: 6.5/10

As usual, could not hold up the ball but was a better display as compared to some of his previous games.

Substitutes:

Herrera: 7.5/10

Brought in the partner Ander Herrera in defensive midfield and did a perfect job.

Darmian: N/A

But made one rash challenge on Welbeck towards the end of the match which could have easily resulted in a penalty.

Rashford: N/A
