Antony Martial’s manager has come out and said that his client has no intentions of leaving Man Utd in the summer.

The French international had a wonderful first season at United after his big money move from Monaco. But his second season under Mourinho has seen a fair amount of ups and downs. He was even openly critized by his manager Jose Mourinho. And owing to this he has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

But now his manager has cleared the air stating that Martial has no reason to leave. His manager also said that his client will only exit if Ed Woodward said so. But as of now there has been no communications of that sort.

Man Utd recieved heavy critisicm from a lot of people after they had paid 36 million pounds for a seemingly unknown youngster. But he proved his critics wrong by having a wonderful first season. In his first season under Van Gaal, Martial made 31 Premier League appearances and scored 11 goals in the process.

But his second season has been anything but a bed of roses. Man Utd brought in a new manager last summer in the form of Jose Mourinho. And they also signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG. And Mourinho chose Marcus Rasford as the Swede’s strike partner. This meant that Martial had to spend most of his time on the bench.

The French International has played just 25 matches most of them being substitute appearances. And he has scored just 4 goals. Lack of game time and starts meant that people were making assumptions that Martial might move out of Old Trafford.

But now after his manager’s statements it is clear that Martial is going to stay at Man Utd.
