Jose Mourinho knows very well that Real Madrid desperately wants David De Gea and the feeling is mutual from the goalkeeper’s side. And by the looks of it, the Portuguese manager is willing to grant that wish.

De Gea went agonisingly close to joining the La Liga outfit a couple of seasons ago but the deal collapsed during the final few seconds on the deadline day. Since then the Spanish No 1 has stayed back at Old Trafford and has become an even better keeper. But that interest from Real Madrid just does not seem to die down.

When Real could not acquire De Gea they stuck with Keylor Navas who finally proved his worth in from of the post but this season the Costa Rican’s form has dipped pretty badly and everyone has a feeling that this is going be Navas’ last year at the Bernabeu.

As a result of this, Real Madrid’s interest in David De Gea is growing with each passing month and Mourinho knows very well that once this interest reaches full throttle it will be really hard to stop a move from happening. But the United manager is thinking of capitalizing on the move rather than resist it.

According to Diario Gol, Jose Mourinho is willing to let De Gea move to Madrid if Real is ready to send Marco Asensio as part of the deal. Mourinho knows this for a fact that Asensio is not happy with the lack of game time during the current campaign and has made Zidane aware of his frustrations. He has revealed that if his situation does not change in the coming few months then he might have to start thinking about a move out of the country. And Mourinho is planning to tap into this sentiment and bring the Los Blancos youngster to Old Trafford.
