Ex-Tottenham player Paulinho has claimed that Barcelona have made contact with him.
The former Tottenham player who was a flop at the club currently plays in China for Guangzhou Evergrande. He has now claimed that Barcelona are in talks with him in order to sign him up.
The 28-year-old Brazilian joined the Tottenham in 2013 from Brazilian side Corinthians. The deal was in the region of £17 million. And Paulinho was supposed to be the next big star at Spurs. He became anything but a star, unfortunately. He spent two seasons with the club and managed to make only 45 league appearances.

Eventually, Evergrande came calling in the summer of 2015 and Spurs sold him for £10 million. Since then Paulinho has been playing in the Chinese Super League under the Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
But now the Brazilian has claimed in an interview that Barcelona have made contact with his agent.
“There has been an offer and I know that we are talking,” Paulinho told in an interview.
“I am currently at a very happy stage of my life and my career”
“It is difficult to decide at a moment like this”
While Paulinho will be delighted with the initial offer and if things get serious he might really give it a thought. But on the other hand, his current manager Scolari will be very adamant to hold on to his player.
