According to a report, Lazio have set a new price tag on their central midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and it is a whopping £94 million.

The Serbian International has been at the centre of attention for a series of Premier League clubs. The likes of Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea have all shown interest in the player – with both Chelsea and Manchester United sending out scouts to watch him on a couple of occasions.

The player has just signed a new deal with the club which runs until 2022 and this is one of the biggest reasons why the price tag has gone up so drastically. The Lazio management has revealed that they had rejected a few offers during the summer transfer window – one of them being Juventus who were ready to offer 45 million euros for the 22-year-old. But now the club have changed their stance and are willing to part ways with the player if someone is ready to pay the desired amount.

Savic joined Lazio back in July 2015 from Genk and in these three seasons, he has cemented his place in the starting line up. The versatile midfielder has gone on to make 88 appearances in which he has clocked up 14 goals and 12 assists. While he is undoubtedly a fantastic player but a price tag of £94 million seems way too much.
