Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea have begun a tug of war of sorts in order to sign 20-year-old Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.

De Jong is a Willem II youth team product who joined AFC Ajax in the summer of 2016 and he was one of the major catalysts who helped Ajax reach the 2017 Europa League Final. The midfielder though has only 18 months left on his current contract and Ajax have failed to keep a hold of him.

The news around England is that Premier League clubs can swoop him up for as low as £5 million. And in accordance with this Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea all will be making January transfer window bids in order to get the signature of Frenkie de Jong.
