Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been the subject of a few transfer rumours during the past couple of seasons. Even though the Spain No 1 has committed his loyalty to the Red Devils for the immediate future but these rumours just refuse to go away.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the player and they even went agonisingly close to securing a move but a faulty fax machine decided to play spoilt sport in the deal. Now according to the latest report, Ligue 1 outfit PSG are interested in signing the player next summer.

PSG have been on a crazy spending spree during the past summer and they have no intentions of slowing down. Unai Emery’s side currently have Kevin Trapp as their No 1 but the German has failed to impress infront of goal. Now the Qatari owned side want to replace him with United’s David De Gea.

As per the report, PSG’s director of footballer Antero Henrique has already contacted David De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes for the possible move. But the French outfit very well know that the move will not be an easy one to pull off that is why they are looking at Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak as a possible alternative.

This bit of news poses a real threat for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho as both Real Madrid and PSG have shown interest in signing the Spanish keeper. While Real’s interest has died down a bit in the recent years primarily because of Keylor Navas’ fine form but an interest from PSG will mean that Manchester United will have a tough time in holding on their No1.

PSG have already spend a huge amount of money this summer by signing Neymar from Barcelona and next season they will have to buy Kylian Mbappe from Monaco who is currently on loan at the Paris club. But the goalkeeping spot is an Achilles heal for the club and the owner will definitely want to solidify that next summer.
