Real Madrid have reportedly entered into advanced negotiations with Chelsea winger Eden Hazard over a summer move.

Real Madrid have been chasing Hazard for a pretty long time and the Belgian superstar seemed to be on his way to Spain during the previous summer. But a serious injury that he sustained while on international duty put a halt to those proceeding and Hazard eventually stayed back at Chelsea. Now though it seems that the talks have picked up once again.

Reports have already suggested that Real manager Zinedine Zidane has told Florentino Perez that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is his top transfer priority and now as per the Daily Star the Los Blancos have entered advanced negotiations with the Belgian with Hazard expected to make the switch after the World Cup in Russia during the summer.

But the move might open up the exit doors for Marco Asensio who will most certainly leave Real Madrid if the club signs Eden Hazard. Asensio has already complained to Zidane about his lack of game time this season and if Eden Hazard moves to the Bernabeu then the Spaniard is sure to move out which might just be good news for a lot of Premier League clubs.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City are in hot pursuit of Marco Asensio as both are supposedly preparing bids for the next summer. And in such a scenario they will be hoping that Eden Hazard joins Real Madrid so that Marco Asensio can force a move out of the Bernabeu.
