Real Madrid have joined the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona in the hunt of Brazilian star Arthur – according to reports.

Arthur has been an integral part of Gremio’s Copa Libertadores success in November and this has grabbed the eyeballs of a string of top European clubs.

Barcelona have had a long-standing interest in the 21-year-old and it was also being reported that Arthur has already signed a pre-agreement with the Catalan club. Now though the Brazilian has rubbished all these peaking the interest of Chelsea as well as Real Madrid.

While Chelsea have already tried to make contact with the Brazilian, Real Madrid’s interest in the player seems to be quite fresh. The Gremio management are said to be furious with Barcelona after they tried tapping Arthur and they are not very keen to do business with the La Liga outfit. And both Chelsea and Real Madrid trying to use this to their advantage.

It is being reported that Real Madrid will be keeping a close eye on the player when they face Gremio in the final of the 2017 FIFA Club World Cup this weekend. But Chelsea feel that they have an edge over the other suitors due to their large contingent of Brazilian players who can try and convince Arthur to join the Blues.
