If you manage to scan through all the reports from the past few days you will come across one story which is common throughout. And that is the news of Real Madrid chasing Monaco’s teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe. Real coach Zinedine Zidane is a huge fan of the 18-year-old and is going all out to bring the player to the Bernabeu.

But if Kylian Mbappe was to make a move out of France and into Spain then it might just set a chain of events in motion which is likely to affect a lot of teams and players across Europe.

Gareth Bale will be sold:

If Kylian Mbappe agrees to join Real Madrid then it would mean that Zidane will have to make some room in his first team in order to accommodate the youngster. And by the looks of it, the axe is going to land on Gareth Bale’s head. When Zidane took charge of the first team at the Bernabeu many people thought that he was going sell off the Welshman. But Bale hung on and fought for his position, as a result of which he started seeing a lot of first team action. But then Bale suffered an injury and immediately fell off the pecking order.

As things stand if Mbappe comes to Real Madrid then it is only Gareth Bale who will have to make way. And this comes as a huge prospect for Manchester United who have been linked with the 28-year-old on quite a few occasions in the past. If Real decide to put Bale in the market then United will surely be readying a bid in order to bring the Welsh International to Old Trafford.

If Bale joins United: What then?

If Manchester United are able to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid then they too will face the same dilemma like Real Madrid. The arrival of Bale would mean that United will also have to clear up some space in the first team. And the player who will make way for Bale would likely be Anthony Martial. The Frenchman had a wonderful first season at United but ever since the arrival of Jose Mourinho the youngster has failed to impress.

There have been times when Jose Mourinho has even criticized him openly claiming that the player lacked commitment. With the arrival of Bale, Mourinho might just send Martial out on loan. And clubs like Inter and Arsenal will be more the willing to take up the player.

Mbappe’s move might affect Arsenal also:

It’s no secret that Arsenal have been trying to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco for a very long time. And the Gunners are still confident that a deal will be struck before the end of the transfer window. But if Mbappe was to move to Real Madrid, then the French outfit might just pull the plug on the Lemar deal.

AS Monaco have lost a host of top players this transfer window as all have them have moved to seek new challenges across Europe. And to be very honest, Mbappe and Lemar are the last bits of magic left on the Monaco wand. If the club cannot hold on to Mbappe then there is no way that they will let Lemar join Arsenal.

If Arsenal can’t get Lemar: What happens then?

Arsene Wenger has made it very clear that Alexis Sanchez is going nowhere and will remain at Arsenal come the next season. But Manchester City fans still have that faint belief that Wenger might sell the Chilean this summer instead of losing him for free after his contract runs out in 12 months.

But if Arsenal are somehow unable to sign Thomas Lemar then City can say goodbye to the Alexis Sanchez dream. If Wenger cannot bring in a replacement for Sanchez and his quality then there is no chance that he will let go of Alexis and that too to a direct rival.
