Real Madrid youngster Oscar Rodriguez has snubbed both Manchester City and Barcelona to commit his future to the Galacticos.

According to Marca, Rodriguez has signed a new 4-year deal with the club. The 19-year-old produced a fine display in last year’s UEFA Youth League and is considered as one of the next big stars to come out of the Madrid Academy.

His performance last year drew a lot of top European clubs’ attention. And both Manchester City and Barcelona were keen to sign the youngster. But as things stand the youngster has put all his faith on Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane is hopeful that the youngster will prove to be an asset to the club for years to come. And thus his signing a new deal with the club is a firm step forward for Real Madrid.
