Tottenham Hotspur have joined a long list of clubs that have shown interest in signing Hamburger SV’s Jann-Fiete Arp.

The 17-year-old has made a successful breakthrough into the first team squad this season after having a wonderful run of games for Germany in the U-17 UEFA Championships. He scored seven goals in the Championship and in the current season, Arp has already netted two goals in three appearances.

And this fine run of form has grabbed the eyeballs from a host of top European clubs. Chelsea, Juventus and Arsenal have already shown an interest in signing the player next summer and now Spurs have also joined the race. It is being reported that all these clubs have sent scouts to watch Arp in action for Hamburger and most of them have been heavily impressed with what they have seen.

Spurs will definitely have an upper hand in the deal simply because Arp is a big fan of English striker Harry Kane. So can Pochettino use Kane as a bait to entice Jann-Fiete Arp?
