Tottenham Hotspur have shown a keen interest in signing Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa – as per reports.

A long list of European clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG are all in line to sign up the player and now it seems that Mauricio Pochettino’s name has been added to the list admirers.

Chiesa has picked up some rave reviews while playing in the Serie A this season and the 20-year-old has already established himself as one of the backbones of the Fiorentina team. Chiesa has already made 15 appearances for Fiorentina this campaign – scoring four times.

But if Daniel Levy really wishes to sign Federico Chiesa then he will have to overcome two major obstacles. Firstly he will have to battle it out with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG who are all said to be preparing bids for the winger.

And secondly Fiorentina are very much aware of the levels of interest that Chiesa holds in Europe and that is why they have put a step £53 million on the player. And knowing Daniel Levy and his transfer market tactics, Spurs will have to think long and hard before they make any sort of move for the player.
