Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea in the season’s first London Derby at Wembley. Pochettino will be wanting to continue his winning start to the season while the Chelsea boss will want to leave his side’s humiliating defeat behind him and start fresh.

While Pochettino does have one or two injury related issues but that is nothing compared to the headaches that Conte is currently dealing with. The Italian boss will miss the services of the likes of Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Pedro either due to suspension or due to injury. And Pochettino will be eager to take full advantage of this weakened Chelsea side.

We take a look at Spur’s predicted line-up against Chelsea:

Goalkeeper:

Hugo Lloris

The French International is most certainly going to start in front of goal.

Defence:

Spurs started their first game of the season against Newcastle with an orthodox back four but against Chelsea tomorrow, Pochettino will most likely shift to a 3 man defensive line. Alderweireld and Vertonghen will retain their roles as central defenders from last weekend while Eric Dier is most likely to slot back into the back line as the third defender.

Dier – Alderweireld – Vertonghen

Midfield:

Pochettino will most probably go with a four man midfield. Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are going to reprise their respective roles in central midfield and they are going to be supported by two wing backs on either side.

Ben Davies will continue in the role of left wing back as Danny Rose is still out of contention with a knee ligament injury. Kieran Trippier has trained this week and will have to pass a late fitness test in order to be considered for selection. If that does not happen then youngster Kyle Walker-Peters will once again start as the right wing back.

Left wing back – Ben Davies

Right wing back – Kieran Trippier/Walker-Peters

Central midfielders – Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele.

Attack:

A switch in formation – if Pochettino goes with it, will mean that Moussa Sissoko will most likely have to sit it out against Chelsea and Spurs will start with a front three of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane.

Attacking midfielders – Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane.

Striker – Harry Kane.
