Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has revealed his plans for Thomas Lemar during the January transfer window and it does not look pretty for a lot of Premier League clubs.

Thomas Lemar has been on the transfer wishlist of many Premier League clubs with Arsenal said to be the frontrunners. The Gunners were pretty close to signing the Monaco winger during the summer but that deal eventually collapsed meaning that Wenger had to wait until January to sign him again.

Now though Premier League rivals Liverpool and Chelsea have also shown an interest in signing the player and are planning to launch January transfer window bids for Lemar.

But now it seems all these clubs have to wait until the next summer in order to sign Lemar as Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has said that his club have no intention of selling their star players during the winter window.

Vasilyev said(as reported by the Daily Star), “The sales of important players is not on the agenda.

“We have never spoken [to Lemar or his entourage] about the possibility of a January departure.
