Former Newcastle United player Cheick Tiote passed away a few days back after collapsing during a training session.
Cheick had been a Newcastle player for 7 years after arriving at the club in 2010 from FC Twente. And in Feburary of this yea, he moved to the second tier of the Chinese League to play for Beijing Enterprises.
The 30-year old Ivorian international had made 156 appearances for the Magpies during his 7 years with the club. He also had 52 caps for the Ivory Coast national team.
