Gameweek 4 of Premier League has come to an end and it was a lively few days. A week where  Arsenal went back to winning ways, Brighton upset WBA, Manchester United were held to a draw and Man City thrashed Liverpool with a 5-0 victory. On the other side, Tottenham found the net three times to snatch all the points from Everton.

Let’s look at the 5 top players from Gameweek 4 of the Premier League

Ben Davies (TOT):

Ben Davies is lighting up the left flank with his brilliance. His mix of defensive and offensive capabilities are adding force to the 3-4-2-1 formation of Pochettino. Though a defensive player by instinct, Davies is rapidly adapting to his new role as the left full back.  With an excellent passing success rate of 83.9, his abilities add support in both defensive and offensive situations. To back his offensive abilities he has already scored a goal and an assist, meaning Spurs have found a wide player who can cover the length of the field with ease.

Harry Kane (TOT):

The man who won the game against Everton. A splendid long distance goal from the right flank made the game wide open for Tottenham to capitalise.  His brace sealed the victory after Christian Eriksen provided the second goal. Harry Kane was going through a dull run as the English failed to break his August goal drought voodoo once again. But after scoring his 100th goal for the club, he looks back on track. He has become the reliable goal getter who helps  Tottenham win tight matches.  Besides, his long shots are becoming a threat which Everton has already experienced in the match. You just cannot allow this man open space around the box

De Bruyne (Man City):

With his ability of key passes, crossing and set piece Guardiola has already found his favourite attacking midfielder. A good instinct of cutting inside has always helped him to test the keeper. He already has got three assists under his belt. And in the last meet against Liverpool, it was his brilliance which helped Man City dominate the midfield area. Already a man of the match twice in five matches, he is the man to watch out in Man City attacking flanks.

Shaqiri (Stokes):

Once nicknamed ‘European Messi’, Shaqiri did not quite live up to those standards. But his time at Stoke is a much more steady one when compared to his other stints across Europe. His brilliant display during the draw against Man UTD made him the key player of the match. The match was almost over until a brilliant save from David De Gea who managed to make a split second interception to deny Shaqiri the goal. He was the key passer behind the two goals scored by Choupo-Moting.

Alvaro Morata (Chelsea):

Conte has managed to find a good replacement to Diego Costa.  Morata has already got 3 goals and 2 assists, and it is only a matter of time when he overshadows Diego Costa and his records. Expert dribbler, a counter attack threat – he is worth every penny that Chelsea have spent on him.  He found the net once against Leicester City and helped his team win 2-1 against the former EPL champions.
