Wilfried Zaha has been the top of the town for the past couple of weeks and clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have all shown interest in the Ivorian International.

Zaha has been in tremendous form since returning back from a long-term injury and it would be safe to say that he has single-handedly been responsible for pulling Crystal Palace out of the relegation zone and into the 14th position of the table. But now Eagles boss Roy Hodgson has claimed that it will be very tough to hold onto Wilfried Zaha with the amount of attention that he is grabbing.

When asked if Zaha will be at Palace after the January transfer window Hodgson said, “I don’t think as a manager you can ever give guarantees on anything,

“It’s a great credit to the club and to Wilf Zaha that if there are rumours circulating of so-called bigger clubs looking at him and maybe making a bid, we should be pleased about that.

“It means he is doing his job, he’s helping us get the points we’ve been getting. I’ll look at it that way at the moment. If the day comes when one of those rumours becomes the truth, I’ll come to terms with it and deal with it at that moment in time.

“If you ask me do I want Wilf Zaha to stay at the club then I’m like the rest of the Crystal Palace supporters, of course, I do.”

Crystal Palace take on bottom of the table side Swansea City on Saturday and Roy Hodgson will be hoping to pick up all three points.
