Antonio Conte is the number one manager in Europe’s top 5 leagues according to the Elite Managers List.

The list is compiled on the basis of the past 100 games and the Italian is the leader of the pack with 247 points. The former Juve boss won back to back Serie A titles during his final two seasons in Italy and then came to England and won the Premier League title with Chelsea in emphatic fashion.

Current Juve boss and Conte’s replacement Massimiliano Allegri is a close second on that list with 238 points – just 9 points behind the Blues boss. Current Bayern manager – Carlo Ancelotti is third on the list with 236 points and Man City manager Pep Guardiola follows Ancelotti in the fourth position.

But the biggest shocker of the list undoubtedly is Arsene Wenger who has beaten most of his Premier League compatriots. Arsene Wenger finds himself above Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, and Jurgen Klopp.

Wenger might have had a very bad previous season with Arsenal failing to secure a Champions League spot but the season before that the Gunners finished in the second spot behind champions Leicester City.

Jose Mourinho is eight on the list with 188 points as he has not been involved any major success with the clubs that he has managed over the past three seasons. His final season with Chelsea saw a very poor performance from the Blues and then he joined Manchester United and is still in the process of rebuilding the side.
