Manchester City are planning a £50 million bid for Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire – according to reports.

City boss Pep Guardiola has been quite vocal about the fact that he is in search of a new centre-back during the January transfer window. And now it seems that Harry Maguire is his next target.

City were in pursuit of West Brom’s Jonny Evans during the summer but that deal eventually fell through. Now that the former Manchester United defender is said to be available in the market once again, Arsenal now are the frontrunners for signing Evans from the Hawthorns.

The Sun are reporting that Manchester City are preparing a bid for Harry Maguire who joined the Foxes just last season for a fee of £17 million from Hull City.
