Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has made it clear that it is his ultimate dream to play in England and that he is working hard towards a move.
The Jamaican footballer is currently one of the star performers for the German outfit – scoring 8 and assisting 4 goals during the current campaign. And a series of Premier League clubs are said to be interested in signing up the talented winger.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal had all shown interest in signing Leon Bailey during the summer transfer window but Bayer refused to sanction a move for the 20-year-old.

While a January move looked probable but Leverkusen’s director Jonas Boldt made it clear that the club has not received any bids for the winger up until now.

But Bailey whose current contract with Leverkusen runs until 2022 has stated that it is his ultimate dream to play professional football in England.

Bailey said: “Basically, England was and still is my dream. And if I keep working hard, I’m sure it will work someday.”
The 20-year-old arrived at Bayer only 12 months back and it is not very surprising that the Bundesliga outfit are in no hurry to sell him off. Chelsea were said to be looking at Leon Bailey very closely as Antonio Conte is out in the market to find a replacement for Eden Hazard who looks Real Madrid bound.
Arsenal too are set to lose Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City and Wenger is reportedly interested in signing the Jamaican.
