Arsenal are on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund but it seems that Chelsea’s hunt for a new striker is holding up the deal.

Antonio Conte is out in the market looking for a new striker as he does not have faith on Michy Batshuayi despite his fine performance in the FA Cup a couple of days back. And until the Italian manager can bring in a new player, Aubameyang will be struck in Germany.

Chelsea have Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud and Tottenham’s Fernando Llorente as their biggest targets with the latter being the favourite. But if a report from the Daily Mirror is to be believed then Spurs have rejected a bid for the Spanish International from Chelsea.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are expected to launch one more bid for Llorente who was a transfer target for Conte before he moved to Spurs in the summer. If the Lilywhites reject that offer too then Chelsea are planning to go all out for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
