David Beckham and Wayne Rooney led tributes on social media to their ex-college Liam Miller.
The former Celtic FC midfielder who died due to cancer on 9th February had also played for Manchester United in the 2005-2006 season.
Beckham showed his respect on his Instagram account by posting a picture of Miller with a status of “Our thoughts are with Liam’s family .. Rest In Peace ”

Manchester United also showed their sadness on Twitter and wore black armbands during their defeat at St James Park against Newcastle United.
