Arsenal are willing to bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema on board during the summer but Arsene Wenger seems reluctant not to pay the full transfer fee demanded by the Los Blancos.

Benzema looks all set to move out of the Bernabeu after 9 years of association with the club as Real Madrid President Florentino Perez seems inclined to sign up Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. And Arsenal could very well be the next destination for the French International.

At the start of the season Real coach, Zinedine Zidane decided to keep his faith on Benzema by selling off Alvaro Morata to Chelsea. But as the campaign has rolled on every Madrid fan has seen what was a big blunder that decision was.

Benzema has been way below his top form for almost the whole of the current season and it seems that Florentino Perez is not going to take any more chances for the next campaign.

Multiple reports are claiming that the La Liga outfit has slapped a price tag on the striker as they look to offload his during the summer transfer window.

According to Diario Gol, Arsenal are the only club who are interested Karim Benzema but are willing to pay just €40 million out of the demanded €60 million transfer price for the Frenchman.

The report suggests that Benzema has told Perez that he is not going anywhere and wants to stay back at the club and fight for his spot. But the Real President looks adamant to offload him during the summer so that it can pave the way for Harry Kane.

Arsenal though will hold the stronger position in the bargain up until some other team crops with an interest in Karm Benzema.
