With each passing week, it seems that Arsene Wenger’s time at the Emirates is coming to an end. The Gunners have suffered four straight defeats in a span of just 11 days and now the fans are literally after their manager’s blood.

Arsenal’s defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday have opened the floodgates and a large section of the fans now want the Frenchman to step down with immediate effect.

And the Mirror are now claiming that even the Arsenal management are slowly starting to lose faith in their manager.

The report states that the Gunners board had a meeting on Monday in order to discuss the future of Arsene Wenger at the club and also the possible candidates who might replace the Frenchman once he steps down.

Arsene Wenger had insisted that he will not step down from his position as he feels he has the right amount of experience to bring Arsenal out of this mess.

But as per the Mirror, the management can no longer trust their manager.

Amongst the names that have popped up as an alternative to Arsene Wenger, it seems that former striker Thierry Henry’s name ranks at the top of the list.

The Arsenal legend is currently assisting Belgium coach Roberto Martinez for the World Cup in Russia and many punters are backing the Frenchman to replace Arsene Wenger for the next campaign.

When Henry was asked if he wanted to manage Arsenal, he said: “Obviously, I’m passing my badges and I’m nearly done.

“Who wouldn’t like to be the Arsenal coach?”

Do you think Thierry Henry will become the next manager for Arsenal?
