Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is out of contract during the summer and the German International has finally revealed his future plans.

The Reds have tried to make Can sign a new deal with the club and up until now, they have had no success. This has prompted many to believe that that the German is on his way out during the summer transfer window. Now though Emre Can has suggested that this might not be the case.

Can has claimed that he had put his future on hold and will not make a decision on his contract until the end of the season.

Can said: “Of course I have to think about my footballing future,

“I haven’t signed for any other club, I’m just focused on this season. We want to finish in second place in the Premier League, we’re in the Champions League quarter-finals and we want to progress. That’s all I’m focused on now.

“My agent has blocked all the negotiations, I’m thinking only of football.”

Emre Can has been tipped to join Italian side Juventus on a free transfer during the summer and multiple reports have suggested that the German might very well sign a pre-contract agreement with the Serie A outfit given that he has not yet put pen to paper on a new deal at Liverpool.

Recently a few reports had claimed that Can had agreed to join Juventus and the above statement just seems to a tactic to calm the nerves. But we still feel that the midfielder will move out once his contract expires.
