Celtic FC star Patrick Roberts is willing to stay with The Hoops for at least the next three years.

Celtic FC are currently leading the Premiership table having played 29 matches in which they scored 67 points, and most likely there is a high chance of them winning the league.

Roberts scored 11 goals and 19 assists in the previous season which helped Celtic FC win the domestic treble for the first time since 2001.

Roberts genuinely has a passion for the club and the winger, after spending his last two and a half years with Celtic had developed some devastating attacking skills.

Last year when Manchester City were keen to loan him elsewhere, he was the one who fought and made a come-back to Celtic FC. In an interview with the Scottish Sun, Roberts has now hinted he wants to stay with The Hoops for three more years.

As The Citizens are hardly having any problem with their attacking lineup, there may be a chance that the Premier League leaders will listen to offers this summer for a player who has never broken into the first-team since his move from Fulham.

As per the Daily Record, Brendan Rodgers admitted that he wants Roberts permanently in his squad and it will be Celtic’s highest transfer record for the first time since John Hartson arrived for £6 million back in 2001.

It will be the most exciting news for all Celtic FC fans if Brendan Rodgers can make the Manchester City  sign Patrick Roberts permanently from them.
