Liverpool have tried time and again to keep Emre Can at the club beyond the summer but it seems the German is adamant about moving out.
With his contract expiring in the summer, Can has yet to put pen on paper to a new deal and rumours are ripe that the central midfielder will join Juventus on a free transfer once the 2017/18 comes to an end.
Now Jurgen Klopp’s next big job will be to sign a replacement for Emre Can during the summer transfer window.
Naby Keita is set to join Liverpool from RB Leipzig next summer but if reports are to be believed then Klopp has already found a replacement to Emre Can.
TeamTalk are reporting that the Merseyside outfit have agreed on a deal with Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi was brought in by the Foxes to replace N’Golo Kante who moved to Chelsea. And during the past two seasons, Ndidi has managed to make himself an integral part of the Leicester first team.
Guinean journalist Alpha Balde claims personal terms have been agreed between Ndidi and Liverpool and the only thing that is left is to sign the agreement and also convince Leicester to sell their midfielder.
Balde is quoted by TeamTalk: “Ndidi approached by Liverpool. The player has agreed. It remains to agree with Leicester, who asks a lot.”
Liverpool have been trying for months now to keep Emre Can at the club but now it seems they have gone out and signed an apt replacement.
