Liverpool unveiled their new home kit for the 2018-19 season on Thursday and after the unveiling, there were some mixed emotions from the fans.

Don’t take us wrong, the kit is already a hit amongst the faithful.

The strip is a darker shade of red from the one that Liverpool have been playing with at Anfield this year and the fans are referring it to as the ‘Red Pepper’

Liverpool stars like Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson modelled for the new kit.

And while other players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Loris Karius, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and manager Jurgen Klopp unveiled other merchandise, there were a few names missing from the launch.

And one absentee has got the Liverpool fans worried.

Amongst the players that were not available at the launch midfielder Emre Can’s names has stood out prominently.

The German International has been tipped to move out of England at the end of the season and his omission from the kit launch has led fans into believing that Can is sure to join a new club during the summer.

Emre Can’s current contract with Liverpool ends in the summer and the German has refused to sign a new deal.

And reports have claimed that the midfielder is on his way out of Anfield and has already agreed to join Serie A giants Juventus.
