Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday and Jose Mourinho’s side will now meet Chelsea in the finals after the Blues beat Southampton.

Spurs took the lead early on in the first half thanks to a goal from Dele Alli and for a good chunk of the first 45 minutes, it seemed as if Mauricio Pochettino’s side would finally get a proper short at a silverware for the first time since 2008.

But Manchester United fought their way back into the match and eventually won the match 2-1 courtesy goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera.

Jose Mourinho pulled out yet another masterclass and nullified the Spurs attack especially Harry Kane.

Kane was perfectly shadowed by Chris Smalling and the English International had one of his quieter games of the current season.

And this below average performance did not go unnoticed.

While it is not a surprise for fans to mock rival players about their poor performances but this time it was the FA Cup’s official Twitter account that took a dig at the English International.

This mockery from a competition’s official social media profile has not gone down too well with fans(Spurs) and some of them have even called it unprofessional.

Here are some reactions:

Harry Kane had only two shots during the full 90 minutes and both of them were not on target.
